The Actaris Fluxi 2000/TZ meter is a high-performance turbine gas meter designed for accurate gas measurement in demanding industrial applications. The meter consists of five main sections: the body containing the core components, a flow conditioning mechanism that regulates and accelerates the gas stream before it reaches the rotor, a measuring unit with turbine wheel, a magnetic coupling that transfers the turbine wheel movement to the totalizer, and a totalizer that records the calculated energy. An integrated oil pump provides lubrication for the main ball bearings within the measuring unit, and lubrication can be carried out even while the meter remains under pressure.
The Fluxi 2000/TZ is engineered to calculate gas pressure at the reference point and is designed to comply with EN 12261 requirements for both low- and high-rate perturbation conditions. Actaris Fluxi meters are available with a mounted thermowell, allowing gas temperature to be measured downstream of the turbine at the reference point. As an alternative, the meter can also be prepared for the installation of two thermowells at the factory, with retrofit options available without recalibration when the meter is configured accordingly under form approval conditions. An extension can also be added to the totalizer to improve reading accessibility in low-temperature applications where icing may occur.
